Escalator technician — City of Radford

Great opportunity: we are hiring an escalator technician in City of Radford, Virginia. You will work on a lift modernisation project. Requirements: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards You will fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables.
