Reinforcement steel fixer — Lake of the Woods County

Join our team: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Lake of the Woods County, Minnesota. You will work at a rebar fabrication workshop. On the job you will handle: • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers Ideal candidate: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
