Great opportunity: building site helper (New York)

Now hiring: we are hiring a building site helper in Herkimer County, New York. You will stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns; load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate. Requirements: • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $18 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
