Now hiring: we are hiring a panel welder in Edwards County, Illinois. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently Your main tasks: • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
