Immediate opening: glass fitter (Idaho)

Now hiring: we are hiring a glass fitter in Custer County, Idaho. You will be based in a mirror and glass showroom. Your main tasks: • Cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers • Work safely at height on scaffolds and ladders • Handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame • Apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass • Clean the finished glass and peel off the protective film • Replace cracked or broken window panes What we are looking for: • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves • Skilled with silicone guns, putty and glazing tools • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. $18 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
