Now hiring: core maker (Enugu State)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a core maker in Enugu South, Enugu State. You will work in a non-ferrous casting shop. Day-to-day duties: • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces Requirements: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Six days a week, one day off.
