Crane operator • Loudon County, Tennessee

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a crane operator in Loudon County, Tennessee. Day to day you will follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure. Requirements: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Able to read load charts and lifting plans Rotating shifts. $25 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
