Now hiring: we are hiring a wood machinist in Washington County, Iowa. The job is on a busy construction site. Requirements: • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers On the job you will handle: • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
