Aluminium fitter — Rotherham

Immediate opening: we are hiring an aluminium fitter in Rotherham, England. The job is in a glazing and curtain wall company. Requirements: • Skilled on cutting, crimping and punching machines • Physically able to lift and carry heavy glass and profiles • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding and ladders You will cut aluminium profiles to size on a double-mitre cutting saw; read fabrication drawings and take site measurements for windows and doors; erect curtain walling, shopfronts and partitions on site; fix handles, hinges, friction stays, locks and multipoint hardware; apply silicone sealant and weather seals around the frames. £2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
