Natural gas fitter • Cherokee County, South Carolina

Now hiring: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Cherokee County, South Carolina. You will be based at a busy gas installation company. Your main tasks: • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply Requirements: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Driving licence for travel between sites • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $2,500 per month, based on your experience. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
