Join our team: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Hill County, Montana. Day to day you will select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut. Requirements: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding Six days a week, one day off.
