Slinger signaller wanted in Montgomery County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Montgomery County, Texas. The job is in a steel fabrication yard. Day-to-day duties: • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists What we are looking for: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Share your details and we will call you back.
