Vacancy available: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator (dozer) in Greater Bridgeport Planning Region, Connecticut. Ideal candidate: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) The role involves cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes; refuel the machine and record running hours; strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction; grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms; work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals.
