Lift erector • Berks County, Pennsylvania

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lift erector in Berks County, Pennsylvania. Day-to-day duties: • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork Requirements: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Valid driving licence for site call-outs Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $27 per hour, based on your experience. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
