Great opportunity: we are hiring a shuttering fixer in Matanuska-Susitna Borough, Alaska. On the job you will handle: • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure What we are looking for: • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
