Immediate opening: we are hiring an aluminium technician in Black Hawk County, Iowa. The job is on a commercial shopfront installation. On the job you will handle: • Read fabrication drawings and take site measurements for windows and doors • De-burr, clean and protect anodised or powder-coated surfaces • Check frames for plumb, level and square before fixing • Crimp the corner joints and fit corner cleats on the crimping machine • Fix handles, hinges, friction stays, locks and multipoint hardware • Install glass panels and secure them with glazing beads You should have: • Good finishing sense — no scratches, clean silicone lines • Knowledge of standard sliding, casement and openable sections Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
