Car refinisher — Westchester County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a car refinisher in Westchester County, New York. The job is at a dealership paint shop. On the job you will handle: • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters • Set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish • Mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code • Blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch Requirements: • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing Full-time with occasional weekends.
