Join our team: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Pickaway County, Ohio. You will be based at a busy sheet-metal workshop. On a typical shift you will control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Full-time with occasional weekends.
