Gas commissioning technician — Lawrence County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Lawrence County, Mississippi. You will work in customers' homes and kitchens. Ideal candidate: • Driving licence for travel between sites • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces The role involves: • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
