Shuttering charge hand • Mobile County, Alabama

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a shuttering charge hand in Mobile County, Alabama. Day-to-day duties: • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking Requirements: • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing $24 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
