Blocklayer wanted in Oxford County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a blocklayer in Oxford County, Maine. Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one On a typical shift you will checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
