Join our team: gas commissioning technician (Tennessee)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Lawrence County, Tennessee. You will be based on commercial and industrial sites. You will fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate. Requirements: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders Full-time with occasional weekends.
