Restoration bricklayer • City of Manassas, Virginia

Vacancy available: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in City of Manassas, Virginia. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding You will laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $4,300 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
