Vacancy available: slinger signaller (Missouri)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Linn County, Missouri. You will work in a steel fabrication yard. Requirements: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Confident with standard crane hand signals The role involves select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; read lift plans and method statements before starting; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller. Pay around $27 per hour, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
