Join our team: we are hiring a site safety steward in Emmet County, Iowa. You will be based at a manufacturing plant. You should have: • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements Day to day you will audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points. 1+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
