Concrete labourer wanted in Centre County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete labourer in Centre County, Pennsylvania. You will work on a metro and infrastructure project. Ideal candidate: • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times The role involves: • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days $160 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
