Concrete placer — Buffalo County

Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete placer in Buffalo County, Wisconsin. The job is on a road and bridge project. The role involves compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE 3+ years on the tools preferred.
