Cnc lathe setter — Scotland County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Scotland County, North Carolina. Day-to-day duties: • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Write and edit G-code programs at the control Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
