Banksman wanted in Wurno

Great opportunity: we are hiring a banksman in Wurno, Sokoto State. On a typical shift you will read lift plans and method statements before starting; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift. What we are looking for: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams 5+ years on the tools preferred.
