LGV Class 1 driver • South Lanarkshire, Scotland

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a LGV Class 1 driver in South Lanarkshire, Scotland. You will be based at a container freight yard. On the job you will handle: • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock You should have: • Confident with manual handling and load securing • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
