Rebar worker wanted in Jefferson County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rebar worker in Jefferson County, Kansas. Day to day you will bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates 5+ years on the tools preferred. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
