Urgent requirement: we are hiring a core maker in Lagos Mainland Local Government Area, Lagos State. Day to day you will fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
