Urgent requirement: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Bibb County, Alabama. Ideal candidate: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage The role involves tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec.
