Reinforcement fitter • Hill County, Texas

Vacancy available: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Hill County, Texas. You will be based on a busy residential building site. On the job you will handle: • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $4,100 per month, based on your experience. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
