Rebar foreman • Adams County, Iowa

Vacancy available: we are hiring a rebar foreman in Adams County, Iowa. The job is on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. On the job you will handle: • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
