Immediate opening: tower crane operator (North Carolina)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Halifax County, North Carolina. You will be based in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. Day to day you will follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control. Ideal candidate: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging Overtime paid at a premium rate.
