Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gardener in Lafayette County, Missouri. You will be based at a private estate garden. On a typical shift you will check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
