Urgent requirement: we are hiring a safety officer in Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana. Ideal candidate: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites On a typical shift you will update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $4,300 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
