On the job you will handle: • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour You should have: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates Rotating shifts.
