UPVC door and window fabricator — Luton

Immediate opening: we are hiring an uPVC door and window fabricator in Luton, England. You will work at a glazing and fabrication factory. The role involves fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash; drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame; rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router; cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame; wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile. You should have: • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely 4+ years on the tools preferred.
