Join our team: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Panola County, Texas. You will be based at a high-rise construction project. On the job you will handle: • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
