Quality control inspector wanted in Yukon-Koyukuk Census Area

Join our team: we are hiring a quality control inspector in Yukon-Koyukuk Census Area, Alaska. On a typical shift you will inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges; operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools; verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing; draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans; log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data. Ideal candidate: • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • Willing to work rotating and night shifts • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $140 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
