Join our team: we are hiring a steam press operator in Ini, Akwa Ibom State. You will work in a busy laundry. Your main tasks: • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing You should have: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep Rotating shifts.
