Tailor machinist • Nance County, Nebraska

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Nance County, Nebraska. You will work in a sampling and tailoring workshop. Your main tasks: • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
