Tailor machinist • Caldwell County, Texas

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Caldwell County, Texas. You will be based in a sampling and tailoring workshop. You should have: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance You will trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift.
