Retail butcher — Bradley County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a retail butcher in Bradley County, Arkansas. You will be based in a supermarket meat department. Your main tasks: • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone Requirements: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
