Great opportunity: we are hiring a construction helper in Oconee County, Georgia. The job is on a residential housing site. Requirements: • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage The role involves: • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
