Immediate opening: tig welder (Missouri)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tig welder in Polk County, Missouri. Ideal candidate: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Day-to-day duties: • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
