Brick and block layer • San Diego County, California

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a brick and block layer in San Diego County, California. On the job you will handle: • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge Ideal candidate: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
