Urgent requirement: cement mason (Tennessee)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a cement mason in Hamilton County, Tennessee. You will be based at an infrastructure site. Requirements: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE The role involves: • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing 5+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $5,200 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
